Our mission is to empower all students for success, both academically and socially by providing them an equitable, culturally responsive education as the foundation to being a successful, independent, lifelong learner.

Fairlawn Elementary School is a place where everyone respects and supports one another so we can always focus on what matters the most, preparing our students to be College and Career Ready.

School Profile:
Fairlawn Elementary School is located in Santa Maria and serves students in grades transitional kindergarten through six following a traditional calendar. At the beginning of the 2024-25 school year, 716 students were enrolled, including 9.6% in special education, 67.5% qualifying for English Language Learner support, 0.6% foster youth, 33.4% homeless youth, 9.5% migrant education, and 97.9% socioeconomically disadvantaged.
